I love Ranch dressing and dip for veggies, but the commercial stuff is full of chemicals, additives, preservatives, MSG, hydrogenated vegetable oils and more…no thanks! Thankfully, it’s beyond easy to make your own… here’s how we whip ours up in less than 5 minutes! (And I almost always use dried herbs because I have them on hand year round, so don’t worry if you don’t have fresh)
Beyond Easy Homemade Ranch Dip and Dressing
by Amy Love, Real Food Whole Health
Ingredients:
½ cup creme fraiche or sour cream
¼ tsp organic granulated garlic (or 1 clove fresh garlic, minced)
1/8 tsp organic onion powder
1 TBL fresh (½ TBL dried) dill
1 TBL fresh (½ TBL dried) chives
Unrefined sea salt, to taste
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and adjust seasonings to taste. It’s that easy!
If you like it a bit tangier, add a Tablespoon of plain yogurt or homemade mayo.
If it’s thicker than you’d like, simply thin with a tiny bit of water.
Yes yes yes…so good-so easy-no junk! Although, I am not a ranch gal, m 5 & 7 year gkids love it!
Excellent, Julie! Glad they like it- and it is SO easy! 🙂
